Finn's Garden...

MiMi and Finn love to garden! This past weekend MiMi made Finn his own garden to plant in. It has his name on it and all. He loves it! He got his garden tools out and started working right away.
He was so excited and woke up the next morning talking all about it!



As you can see from these photos he is a pro!

Girls Night...Satsuma

What a beautiful night for dinner outside! Last Thursday the girl's got together for a fun dinner! We went to Satsuma...which is no longer doing dinner. So sad....a great little place at night. They will still be open for breakfast and lunch, and are also opening a location Uptown soon! I can't wait!

We started with some olives that were so good. Then, the chilled zucchini soup, great flavor and very refreshing. The salad was great too. The fish was so fresh, we had the trout with pickled onions, greens, and pieces of citrus. For desert we had two and split them...one was a berry cobler, and the other was a caramel, pistachio tart with cream. so very delicious!!! As you can see!

Date Night...

Magasin Vietnamese Cafe'

Last Saturday was date night, so we tried the new Vietnamese Cafe' on Magazine Street. How amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious! We started with Crab Rangoons, then shrimp spring rolls for me! Tiger got the Pho Filet Mignon and has not stopped talking about it!!! We can't wait to go back and try some new things. The wait staff was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We also ran into some friends...Nancy and Garland were there, as well as Hang from Earthsavers!

Crepe


Our second half of the date....desert! We went to Merchant. It is located in The Maritime building in the CBD.
Our favorite little hidden treasure! We go all the time. They have the best small bites. We have gotten pastries for breakfast and light bites for lunch! The desert is a Crepe any way you want it! Savory or sweet! I love the one pictured here. Nutella with strawberries and bananas! Plus a little homemade whip cream! Yum!!!
